Description
Lina und ihre Eltern wünschen sich ein Haustier. Der Vater möchte einen Hund und die Mutter eine Katze. In der Zoohandlung wird ihnen ein Papagei empfohlen. Lina ist damit sehr zufrieden, denn nichts anderes hat sie sich gewünscht. Die Eltern versuchen nun bis zur Heiserkeit, dem Tier das Sprechen beizubringen. Doch der Papagei tut den Schnabel nicht auf. Als sie ihn in die Zoohandlung zurückbringen wollen, rät ihnen der Verkäufer zu mehr Geduld. Nur Lina weiss schon lange - der Vogel hat's ihr verraten -, dass es eben kein Papagei, sondern ein Mamagei ist. Als dies endlich auch die Eltern begriffen haben, erzählt die clevere Mamagei eine ganze Menge!
