Sobre la base de esa hipo tesis fallida, la autora reconstruye y analiza las alternativas que se configuraron en torno a la primera Restauracio n y las complejas redes establecidas entre las potencias europeas y el corredor luso-hispano-criollo del Atla ntico Sur con epicentros en Ri o de Janeiro, Montevideo y Buenos Aires. --
