Antropolis verwijst enerzijds naar het ?Antropoceen?, de door wetenschappers bedachte naam voor het nieuw tijdperk waarin menselijke activiteit de planetaire grenzen onder druk zet. Maar anderzijds ook naar Atlantis, het mythische gezonken eilandenrijk. Met o.a.
