Description

A collection of photographs of food, all taken by Martin Parr. The work of Martin Parr bridges the divide between art and documentary photography. His studies of mass culture around the world, his imagery and his prolific output have placed him at the forefront of contemporary art. A member of the photo agency Magnum, Parr is a world authority on the photobook and divides his time between London and Bristol. Martin has a busy exhibition schedule for 2016, including a solo exhibition in Sydney and a group show at Tate Modern, London. Fergus Henderson is a British chef and author, who opened London's St. John restaurant in 1994, and, later, St. John Bread and Wine, to wide critical acclaim. He is known for his philosophy of "'nose-to-tail eating", which was also the name of his first cookbook.
