Description
Tussen 1930 en 2010 produceert het Nijmeegse paramentenatelier Stadelmaier op grote schaal moderen, vernieuwende paramenten, die een werelwijde verspreiding kennen. Behalve in Nederland heeft het familiebedrijf succesvolle verstigingen in Duitsland, Engeland, Italie, Oostenrijk, Spanje, de Vereniginde Staten, Canada en Mexico. Op de expositie geven gewaden, ontwerptekeningen, cartons en proefborduursels een compleet beeld van de deze productie. Ben Stadelmaier (1934) de 'modekoning van de geestelijkheid', schenkt Museum Catharijneconvent in 2012 een groot aantal paramenten.
