Description
"Trajeccions brings together the texts of the lectures of the \"Jornades Hibrids 2006,\" held July 3-5, 2006 at Collegi d'Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC) in the province of Girona and Fundació Espais d'Art Contemporani. The theme was Augustin Berque's idea of \"trajection.\" The lectures draw upon human geography, aestetics, biology, architecture and philosophy of science to attempt to trace the map drawn by the development of man on Earth and how it implies a state of \"constant mutation\" both on our own part and on the part of our surroundings--from Introduction, p. 5.\n\nGeografies expectants features visual art pieces by Francesc Abad, Domènec, Àlex Nogué, Pere Noguera, and Lluı́s Sabadell Artiga that suggest new ways of looking at landscape in the context of, and in relationship to, human society. Includes the essay, \"Expectant geographies, future scenarios\" by Magdala Perpinyà."
