I have the 1st. copy of this book. I have read it all the way through , twice already and find myself wanting to read it again. In my whole life, I beleive it is the only book I have read all the way through,besides children books growing up. I really enjoy the book. I must say that I do have trouble with the names and cities , inthe book, but find it fastinating.

WITH this preparation we proceed to tell briefly of the making of the Old Testament, which differs only in this from the making of the New, that while the New Testament was completed in one generation, the Old Testament was in the making for nearly 2000 years.
