Description

Giving a true and faithful account of his murders and depredations on the plains, and his escape from the Indians, after killing the son of their chief, which is a true history of his life up to the time of his execution at Springfield, Illinois, for murder. To which is attached the narrative of his wife, showing his barbarous cruelty to her, by causing her two starving children to eat human flesh, and eventually compelling her to commit a most cruel and inhuman murder, to save her child from the knife of the blood-thirsty father.
