First Sentence

It is so tempting to situate these guys: to talk about time- how after any valid quotient of a musical or artistic underground became consumed into the collegiate alterna-fallacy of indie, and meanings began being delivered as marketing strategies, what was left to do was simply something for the fuck of it all irony in free fall cultural crash and burn; to talk about place- for after all is this work not signature San Francisco, that germinal ground zero of the great American Poster Renaissance, spawning ground of Griffin, Moscoso, Wilson, Grimshaw and so many others of that previous Fillmore era, and now hallowed home to compatriots like Kozik and this tenuous construct of a "new poster movement."
