...these volumes concern a proposed mixed use development project in downtown Boston's financial district at Fort Hill Square consisting of office/retail buildings, a new city of Boston fire station, an ambulance facility, a large publicly accessible landscaped atrium and a parking garage; the "Draft and Final Environmental Impact Assessment" contains a description of the project and area (existing conditions, project history, urban design and architectural alternatives, etc.) and includes analysis of the following issues: transportation and access plan, wind, shadow, daylight, excavation/soil conditions, air quality, noise, utility systems, energy issues, historic preservation and construction; mitigation measures are also presented; a separate "Executive Summary" accompanies this draft assessment; the "Draft Environmental Impact Report" includes some of the same information but only analyzes air quality and utility systems; the "Final Environmental Impact Report" covers the same areas as the draft report; also on this number is a "Final Environmental Impact Assessment Executive Summary" which is chiefly a brief description of the project and its alternatives together with a brief description of its various environmental impacts; copies of these items were in the BRA collection...
