The Institute incorporates several research centers: Center for Civic Innovation, Center for Legal Policy, Center for Medical Progress, Center for Race and Ethnicity, Center for Rethinking Development, Center for Policing Terrorism, Empire Center for New York State Policy. It also publishes the quarterly journal, City Magazine.
