Widmer, musical director in "Courtship, or The Three Caskets" and Miss Kate Mayhew in "Jenny Lind," Sunday evening, December 14, 1879 at The Baldwin Theatre; first appearance in America of Thorn and Darvin, the original illusionists and Exposers of Spiritualism at the Standard Theatre, Monday evening, December 8; "Red Ridinghood Female Minstrels" and "The French Spy" at the Adelphi Theatre, vaudeville program including performances by Sam Mrtin, Norton and Eastwood, Mr. W.C. Crosbie, Miss Fanny Young, W.C. Dudley, Flora Franks, J.M. Johnson, Bob Scott, W. Bree, Tommy Leary, Patti Rosa, F.J.
