Description

Historical fiction. The story of a young girl, Frances Vaughan, just out of school, who is sent from her home with her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Jane Thrale, in Boston, England to live with her father, Thomas Vaughan, a merchant in Boston, Massachusetts. Set during the witch hysteria of the 17th century, her family is intertwined with Increase and Cotton Mather.
