Description
A compilation in five books of the synodal constitutions of the province of Canterbury, from the time of archbishops Stephen Langton (d. 1228) to Henry Chichele (1362?-1443) compiled by Lyndwood and with his gloss commentaries. The work was completed in 1433 and first printed at Oxford in 1483. Regarded by some authorities as law of the Church of England.
