La disparition est un événement dont on ne peut même pas dire qu'il a eu lieu parce qu'on ne peut pas le localiser. Le disparu est soit totalement absorbé par la loi, c'est la radicale mise au secret (le statut nuit et brouillard ), soit totalement anarchique. Il rompt l'essence du pacte existentiel sans lequel il n'y a pas d'action politique. Le disparu disqualifie et gangrène toute communauté : il est aussi le hors-la-loi de la philosophie politique.
