"Tokom zaštitnih arheoloških iskopavanja 2013. godine zbog izgradnje autoputa Niš-Dimitrovgrad, pronađeni su u jednoj humci ostaci gvozdene i mesingane oplate sa drvenih kola, kao i kosti životinja (dva konja). Ovaj veoma zanimljiv i redak nalaz pogrebne dvokolice na teritoriji Srbije, verovatno s kraja I i početka II veka, bio je predmet interdisciplinarnih istraživanja i studiozne konzervacije naših stručnjaka, na osnovu kojih je urađena i replika samih kola."--
