Lorsque Paul Arezzo, célèbre peintre français, débarque aux Kerkennah en 2000, l'archipel tunisien est un petit paradis. L'artiste s'y installe et noue une forte amitié avec la famille de Farhat, un pêcheur, particulièrement avec Issam et Ahlam, ses enfants incroyablement doués pour la musique et la peinture. Peut-être pourront-ils, à eux trois, réaliser le rêve de Paul : une œuvre unique et totale où s'enlaceraient tous les arts. Mais dix ans passent. Ben Ali est chassé. L'islamisme gagne du terrain. When Paul Arezzo, a famous French painter, landed in the Kerkennahs in 2000, the Tunisian archipelago is a small paradise, where the artist settles down and establishes a strong friendship with the family of Farhat, a fisherman, particularly with Issam and Ahlam, his children who are incredibly gifted in music and painting.
