Description
This is a video game analysis book, for the games of the "Nintendo Entertainment System" {NES}, and "Family Computer" {Famicom} game consoles. It covers the original 16 games that were released in the USA in 1985, and 9 Japanese games, released for the Famicom in 1983. The Japanese Famicom section is mentioned as a "Bonus feature" of the book. Each game review has a screenshots, images of the game's box, front and back {backs only for USA games}, and the manual, along with any assesories that the game came with. There is also a list of variations of the game, which were later released on other game systems, and their consoles. The book was originally titled "Good Nintentions 1985". {Sometimes refered to as "Good Nintentions: Volume II"} ISBN: 1537080792 for a "Color Edition", and a "Black & White Edition", ISBN 1537625748, in 2016. It was later re-released as "NES Works Volume I: 1985", in 2017. This book is a companion to the author's YouTube video series originally called "Good Nintentions", and "Good Nintentions Gaiden", then later retitled "NES Works", and "NES Works Gaiden". A third/second volume in the series was planned but the name of the series was then changed. The book has color screenshots, and color photography by the author {except for the black & white version of the book.
